About Me

My Chiropractic career started in May 2004 when i completed my MSc in Chiropractic from the University of Surrey in Guildford. I worked in a clinic in Northampton for a year then in 2005 I moved to a busy clinic in Birmingham where I stayed for 10 years. In 2015 i started my own clinic in Whitchurch, Shropshire which is a delightful market town. I live in a small village just outside of Shrewsbury and have been blessed with 3 amazing, lively children including twins – all teenagers now. We also have two large dogs, a few chickens and 2 rabbits so life is never dull!

As a qualified personal trainer and fitness instructor, I also worked for David Lloyd for a number of years and continue to have an interest in the rehabilitation side of treatment. I believe it is an essential part of treatment to ensure a prolonged and optimal recovery. With this in mind I encourage patients to do some stretching and strengthening techniques as part of my maintenance care programme.

During the first few years of practice, both myself and husband (also a chiropractor) treated quite a number of patients who were experiencing problems with infertility. As parents ourselves we decided that we would like to do something to help. Following 2 problem free pregnancies of my own, including our twin pregnancy, we decided to join a non-profit organisation called Surrogacy UK and to cut a very long story short (if you would like more details then please ask!) I became a host surrogate and have now had 5 surrogate babies for 4 different couples which included another set of twins – the last surrogate baby arriving in May 2026. This has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life and our families remain close and firm friends with all of the families that we’ve helped to create.

Having carried 8 babies and had 6 smooth & enjoyable pregnancies, I have experienced first-hand the relief that chiropractic treatment can give during this demanding time and have developed a keen interest in treating pregnancy related conditions. I have also spent years treating babies and developing this with postgraduate courses as I have seen the benefits that can come from a very gentle but effective form of chiropractic treatment that can be carried out from birth.
